Spanning a new recreational channel, Calibre’s Whitewater Team provided expert design services, including the unique “M-Wave” feature, a flow-through headgate, and the thrilling “Big Drop” drop feature. Our collaboration with EPDUK enhanced the channel’s capabilities, making it a premier destination for whitewater recreation and swiftwater rescue training.

Powered entirely by green, tidal energy, this state-of-the-art facility utilizes Archimedean screw pumps for energy generation and recreational flow. The integration of the patented RapidBlocs™ movable obstacle system allows for adaptable, high-quality whitewater experiences, ensuring long-term versatility. By transforming the site into a world-class recreation area, our project team has not only elevated the standard for whitewater parks but also significantly enriched the local community, drawing visitors and fostering outdoor activity.
