Calibre served as the on-call civil engineer for the City of Muncie, Indiana, overseeing a diverse range of projects valued at over $3 million in roadway repair design. Our services included comprehensive roadway design and planning, drainage and hydraulic design, and emergency repairs, enhancing dozens of major and minor roads across the city. Unique engineering solutions involved the reconfiguration of existing roadways, the installation of new sidewalks, and effective signing and striping to improve traffic flow and safety.
This project not only revitalized Muncie’s infrastructure but also supported a $45 million annual budget for sanitary and storm improvements and secured $20 million in grant funding. By prioritizing community needs and environmental sustainability, Calibre added significant value through enhanced accessibility, reduced traffic congestion, and improved public safety, fostering a more connected and resilient community for all Muncie residents.
