Colorado State Capitol Annex Building

Denver |
CO
Renovating the Capitol Complex with sustainable upgrades for a safer, more efficient community.

Calibre proudly contributed to the Capitol Complex Renovations project in Denver, Colorado, focusing on the Annex building at 1375 Sherman Street. This extensive project, with an anticipated construction budget of $14,000,000, involved a comprehensive HVAC upgrade, whole building abatement, and necessary demolition. Our structural engineering team designed the structural support for new mechanical units and new openings alongside the infill of existing roof openings. We ensured that all our designs complied with LEED requirements, promoting sustainability within the project.

Our dedicated construction administrative services featured regular site visits, meticulous review of shop drawings and RFIs, and the preparation of as-built drawings. By enhancing the building’s functionality and efficiency, Calibre Engineering not only improved the infrastructure but also contributed positively to the community, ensuring a safer and more effective public environment in the Capitol Complex.
