Calibre’s Whitewater Team led the design and construction of the Camphill Surf Park, a premier world-class freestyle whitewater park situated near Wanaka, New Zealand. Spanning a strategically developed site, this project showcases our expertise in creating water features that cater to paddlers of various abilities.
Our Whitewater Team provided comprehensive services, from site selection to final construction oversight, ensuring the park aligns with the needs of surfers and the community alike. Unique engineering solutions include two distinct wave features: the upper hole for stable, side surfing, and basic freestyle practice, and the lower jet river for slalom training that evolves into a high-performance wave at peak flows.
