Enhancing Littleton’s safety through effective flood management and resilient watershed solutions.

The Jackass Gulch project encompasses approximately 1,000 acres of critical watershed management. Calibre was contracted by the City of Littleton and the Mile High Flood District to develop a comprehensive Drainage Master Plan (MDP) and Flood Hazard Area Delineation (FHAD). Our services included hydrologic modeling, floodplain mapping, and conceptual design of prioritized capital projects. Calibre was also contracted to design stabilizing ponds that enhance aesthetics while mitigating flood impacts and erosion, along with additional trail connections.

In response to recent extreme storm events in 2023, Calibre swiftly implemented bank stabilization measures for the High Line Canal, showcasing our commitment to community safety. By addressing urgent drainage needs and enhancing local infrastructure, Calibre not only protected the environment but also added significant value to the Littleton community, ensuring a safer and more resilient landscape for all residents.
