Calibre Engineering collaborated with AECOM on a transformative Wastewater Master Plan for the City of Aurora. This project involved integrating city-wide wastewater infrastructure, covering a substantial area, and employing cutting-edge digital solutions. Our team developed a map-based interface, streamlining the city’s GIS layers and enhancing data visibility through overlays and real-time updates. By leveraging advanced programming techniques in SQL, VBS, and Python, we automated data retrieval processes, thus improving efficiency.

One unique feature is the prioritization program we implemented, utilizing the Expert Choice model to weigh factors for optimal project prioritization. This approach not only enhances operational effectiveness but also directly benefits the community by ensuring reliable wastewater management. The comprehensive user guides our team created standardized data management procedures, adding significant value to the project, and ultimately supporting Aurora’s sustainable development goals.
